PDF Export of Results

Asked by: Doug Rathburn
How do you create a PDF export of results similar to Regatta WorkBench? Formatted like https://www.regattacentral.com/regatta/results/3963_7646.pdf

We have a report similar to that; however, the formatting is 2 lines per boat, which makes each line less crowded while providing more information. Also it tries to keep from breaking up an event between pages, so there are more pages to the report. A version of it could be made to match the format you provided more closely, though. here is an example from last year's Head of the Lake: http://jenisys.net/downloads/hotl2014.pdf

I assume this has to be done by the regatta organizer and there is no way to initiate the export from the displayed html page on RC?

The results page in RegattaCentral shows either the results published from Regatta Master, or a link to a document or web page provided by the regatta. The report I sent you is in Regatta Master, so it must be created like any other report coming out of RM (either to a printer or PDF). I do not know the process for getting a link to it in RegattaCentral - this would be a question for RC support.

We will be adding the ability to publish documents (ie, Word, Excel, PDF) to Regatta Master Online - these will be available for viewing/downloading on the regatta home page. Currently you can publish sponsor links and announcements. The announcements can contain hyperlinks to documents on other web sites, links to live webcam feeds, etc. Here is a (fictitious) example: http://online.regattamaster.com/Pages/Regatta.aspx?regattaID=1015
