The new Regatta Master Timing Service was put to the test yesterday at the Head of the Rock, with 5 timing stations using RM Timer 3.0, mainly connected to the internet via hotspots.  With nearly 600 entries, HOTR is one of the largest head races in the Midwest.

Although windy conditions forced the cancellation of small boat events in the afternoon session, the regatta ran smoothly from a technical standpoint, and Regatta Master published the racing in real-time, without issues, throughout the day.

In addition to start and finish, the regatta added 3 intermediate timing stations on the course, giving competitors new benchmarks and spectators more ability to see the progress of the races.
